Green Beans!

Here are some photos of Rebecca eating green beans. This was her first introduction to them and, at the time, she thought they were Delicious. She has since changed her mind after discovering squash and sweet potatoes. :)

As you can see, she is a Big Girl who uses the spoon herself. This makes for some pretty messy feedings! I have actually had to wipe the wall down a few times when she was done, but trying to deprive her of the delight of her own spoon doesn't go over so well. Can we say Diva?

WELCOME!

Hello family! This first post is primarily dedicated to Grammy Barbara. I know you have missed out on many photos and first moments in the last six months. I would love for you to see every day of Rebecca's life, but as that is surely impossible, I hope this brings us closer.

The first photos will probably be from May and June, but I am sure I will eventually catch up! Until then, here are the highlights of Rebecca's life right now:

She can push from sitting to standing, LOVES to stand! She can sit up for a minute or two all by herself. She can scootch across the floor on her belly and is working industriously on getting those feet to help out. She now has two teeth, on the bottom front. EVERYTHING goes in the mouth, but most things are licked first. She is eating cereal and vegetables. She just had her first taste of applesauce this week and thought it was absolutely delicious. The highlights of Rebecca's day are her stroller ride to the post office to pick up the mail, and when Daddy comes home from work. The highlights of her week are seeing Daddy on weekends, and her sisters for visits. She laps up their attention and lavishes them with smiles.
