Halloween Pumpkin, Part 1
Right over the hill from us is a great little pumpkin patch where we went last Sunday to pick our own pumpkin...

Becca Can Count!
We were supposed to be getting ready to run some errands this morning, but instead we were playing a game where she crouches on my chest, I count to three, and then throw her on the bed. Very much fun all around plus it entirely avoids the pregnant belly...
So on about the 10th throw, I hoisted her up and got ready to count when she hollered, WA...DO...FWEE!!!! and threw herself backwards onto the bed.
YAY for counting!

Halloween Costume
I took Rebecca to Target this morning to pick out her Halloween costume and on the way I explained about Halloween...pretty weird stuff when you try to put it on a 1-year-old's level!
She thought the dressing up and things were doubtful, but when I got to the part about going to people's houses to get candy she got pretty excited.
She sneered her way past the bumblebees, peapods, and ladybugs before considering a Ladybug Fairy costume for a while, Little Red Riding Hood, a few witches, and then finally settling on the Pirate Lady costume. It is by far the best choice and the one I would have gone with myself. Yay!
In between all this costume consideration she also managed to empty a shelf of pumpkin buckets, find a Thomas the Tank Engine and run a poor lady down with him (she didn't mind, phew!), and reorganize a shelf of toys.
A thoroughly exhausting trip, but just wait for the pictures on Halloween and I'm sure everybody will agree it was well worth it.
