Hello Family,
As you are all probably aware, there have been some major changes in the life of the Webbers recently. I thought you were due an update on our happenings....
The biggest change coming down the pike is the impending move to Oregon! The babies and I have a plane flight booked for September 27th, all the way to McMinnville, Oregon! Auntie Monster is there, with Uncle Ax, Jack & Evie and we are looking forward to finding a place within daily visiting distance. I have many ideas of how to earn a living on the other coast, but the best part is they all allow me to stay home and really be a part of the daily lives of Becca and Caiden while they are so young. The cost of living in Oregon is truly amazing and I have many friends and acquaintances in the area...look forward to a lot more blog posts once we arrive!
In the meanwhile, we are spending the summer at home preparing for the big move. We have a library within walking distance that does a free craft day every Tuesday, a bus line at the end of our street (we already took an amazing adventure to the zoo!), a membership at the zoo and Science Museum, and a wading pool/sprinkler/jungle gym/sand table in our very own backyard...so no lack of exciting things to do until we get on that plane. Rebecca is practicing her letters, math, and dancing and Caiden has been potty training for the last 2 weeks! He is doing very well and already almost there. :)
We are hosting yard sales on this side of the country, selling off everything from our storage unit and anything we can't ship (do you have any idea how *expensive* it is to ship cross-country?!?) and will be sending all the kids' favorite toys to await us in Auntie's garage. Meanwhile, Melissa has been busy on the other side of the country yardsaling, goodwill visiting, and relieving her friends of all their unwanted household items. She is well on her way to having an entire apartment in her garage just waiting for us.
It is quite the undertaking and a bit scary to make such a big leap, but we are excited for the future and looking forward to seeing what sort of life we can create for ourselves.
:)

This is so exciting for us! We have a big star drawn around the day you arrive, and Jack can't wait! He makes me show him the calendar almost every day. :)
PS, we don't actually have a closed garage, but a corner of my office is starting to get very full! :D
:D We are going to make a countdown calendar so we can start x'ing off the days!
